At the Fall 2011 EREExpo I had a chance to walk the exhibit floor for product demonstrations. I asked for a demo that would highlight the things that make the product unique. Here is what I learned about Glassdoor:

This is a very interesting twist on the job listing aggregation business. Instead of focussing primarily on job postings, Glassdoor pulls together a 360 view of what it is like to work at a company. Employees provide candid reviews, salary information, interview and hiring processes, and other pieces of information to provide very transparent view of a company.

Employers who sign up can then add their own content and have their job listings ported over to give a more rounded view.

I think by mixing the company branded messaging with transparent employee feedback creates a very genuine experience for a job seeker.
